Cycling Club

Following the success of the Clare Crusaders Malin2Mizen cycle held in July 2009, a group of the cyclists have formed the Clare Crusaders Cycling Club. The purpose is provide people interested in cycling with access to regular spins and to train for certain cycle events over the course of the cycling year. The group comes together in the spirit of providing an outlet for all levels to meet and cycle socially and is based on the very successful running group. The club is registered with Cycling Ireland.

Weekly Club Spins - All welcome to come along The group spins take place every Saturday leaving from the Auburn Lodge, Gort Road, Ennis. The group meets at 8.45am for a 9.00am start. All new members are welcome and group spins will be tailored to suit the different levels of cyclists so there is room for everybody. There will some ocassional group spins on Sundays.

Racing Chain Gang The clubs intention is to cater for all levels from advanced, intermediate to those who want to cycle and train in a group. New road racing categories will enable all levels of cyclist to try road racing. An initial group of 7/8 of the club plan to participate in some of these events over the coming months.
