Emma Spencer is one of the clinic’s Speech and Language Therapists.
Emma graduated with a Masters degree in Speech and Language Therapy from UL in 2018, having previously studied Psychology in NUIG. Emma has undertaken further training in Lamh, PECS and the SCERTS framework.
Emma has professional experience working in school and clinical settings with children with varying needs including Intellectual Disability, Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Apraxia, Fluency Disorders, and Articulation/Phonological Disorders. As a Speech and Language Therapist, Emma works closely with children, their families and their teachers as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaboratively sets goals and develops intervention plans in the form of direct and group therapy.
